Today I found that our local walking trail loop has had almost every single pokestop removed. The trail is public property and all the landmarks (memorial plaques) are still there. I’m just wondering if there is any way to appeal all the stops am I just out of luck? This was by far the safest place for kids to play in town considering the only other option is downtown. I do hope to find out more information.

iitc is no longer updating with actions in wayfarer, so it still shows these:
if there is doubt that the markers are actually there, they could have been cleaned up in a removal. if they are there, the property owner(s) may have asked for them to be removed. staff can advise you if they need you to provide evidence they actually exist and are located where they were pinned.
this post will probably be moved to Wayspot Appeals where requests for restoration can be made, but if it was property owner request, there is nothing that can be done.

I suspect that since a lot have gone it will be one of the reasons Cyndie has given.
If it’s the property owner there will little you can do - it may be to do with the fact it surrounds a hospital, they may have submitted a request.
If it is about the plaques then the wayfarer team are likely to want evidence of their existence at the locations and may also be considering if they are suitable.
It is probably best to wait for the wayfarer team to comment.
I would understand the wayspots in the hospital itself and even the roads leading to the hospital, but the wayspots on the trail would be deemed safe right?

I don’t think it is about safety. It’s probably more about the property owner.
I have made some adjustments to the restriction at this location. You should see some Wayspots back on the gameboard.

You may be better starting a new thread than piggy-backing on an existing one - more likely for it to be noticed by staff.
It would help if you could clarify on a map the area you are talking about, as it is hard to match images from Pokemon Go to google maps (other map providers are available).
The location given is fields and industry, no sign of a park anywhere and nothing showing in Ingress. When did the pokestops and gyms last exist?
Being you opened up a separate thread, it’s best to keep to that one. Each situation can be different.
It’s been a week out and I still haven’t seen anything reappear. I assume it’s a property owner issue?
