There were about 9 pokestops at this location yesterday morning (people used the walking track to do routes). As of yesterday afternoon, several players reported that all of the pokestops had vanished. This was a safe place for players to walk on the public walking track, and they are concerned that their spot will no longer be of use.
The pokestops were temporarily added back into the game. Since they were added back, players have reported that they are missing again as of this morning.

Additional Information: For years, this walking track, located next to the police station, has been a safe place to walk and play, a spot to meet up with friends, and an essential part of my play. On 07/24/25 our ten Wayspots disappeared. Our Community Ambassador reached out and they returned temporarily on 07/25/25, according to a member of the community, however when I get here today they are gone again. Please return the joy to this location.
At over a week with no response do we have any hope of 1)Getting confirmation that this was intentional or 2)Getting the Wayspots returned to the game?
@NianticAaron Not sure if I should open up another thread or not, but there has been reports of another area where 6 stops off the same road as the War Memorial stops that were also removed. I think this happened about the same time as the other spot, but two people just mentioned it to me.
