- Additional Information (if any): I requested a location change for this newly-created wayspot because its current location is laughably inaccurate.
The object in question is this:
And this is its in-game location:
Surely you understand that there is no way this bench is located in the middle of the road.
Due to the angle of the bench compared to the building behind it, it’s obviously alongside the thin diagonal path in the park, which is where I tried to move it to, but the reviewers somehow rejected this location edit request. Apparently they think this bench is fine where it is in the middle of the road.
I would recommend sending the edit request to wayfarer help chat instead of the community because you can send your reasoning and suggestions and they can also check satellite etc. Certainly looks to be incorrect-clearly not in the road!
This is the sort of place that I suspect a lot of reviewers could simply not determine.
Although the road is clearly not correct it is not obvious that the other pin is correct. I don’t think they necessarily rejected it as wrong, they just couldn’t determine which of the 2 white dots was proving to be correct.
This is because the clue is the building behind the equipment ( to the north) and on streetview that is hidden by trees. The other buildings ar3 clearly different. It takes a bit of manoeuvring around to see the building.
So this is definitely a case where help chat edit where you can provide reasoning and crucially context photos is so much better.
I don’t exactly have a lot of faith in help chat after my last ordeal with them.
They’ll probably just tell me to go take photos with GPS coordinates again.
I’ve usually found it a helpful process-much better than the community for edits. But it is definitely frustrating when things don’t go to plan.
