Many spots close together, but they never approve anything when there isn’t a single one nearby

I’m tired of seeing 4,5,6 spots within a radius of less than 50 meters, while the stops I submit — where there’s only one nearby — are always rejected.”

Could this be moved into Nomination Support. Thank you

Welcome to the forums

Could you maybe provide your full nomination so we can help you figure out why they were rejected.

Hello an welcome @Madalenita

What you describe sounds very frustrating, so we would like to help.

It is natural to look around at other wayspots and compare them to what you are submitting. It is rarely helpful because unless you do a deep dive into the details you can’t be sure why those wayspots are the way they are.

What you can control and work positively towards is your own nominations and we will be happy to help.

So please do post a few of your submissions in full.
You will also find it helpful to read this article about how wayspots are selected to appear in Pokémon Go

It is quite technical but its vital if you are going to nominate that you understand so do feel free to ask questions.

I am sorry to hear this but more than 4 wayspot means there are sponsored wayspot involved. These sponsored wayspot doesnt follow normal s2 cells rule. The only way 4 pokestop can appear close to each other is if those are located on the corner of 4 cells together. Including sponsored pokestop, it might add up to 5-6 pokestop close to each other. In order to make this, you need to know how s2 xells work. But know that missplacement of wayspot submission into empty cells can be subject to abuse ladder system.

Even if you got multiple approved wayspot, as long those are located within same cell, only 1 wayspot will appear as pokestop/gym. Knowledge of s2 cells in a must if you want to avoid this frustration in future submission
