Wayspot accepted but doesn‘t appear

Hi there
My Wayspot was accepted 2 weeks ago but till today nothing to see on the pokmeom go map, can you tell me why ?

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Location (lat/lon): 47.35093° N, 8.58316° O

  • Country: Switzerland

Your nomination is not eligible to go live in Pokemon Go because it is in the same level 17 S2 cell as “Rehalp Fountain” but it is live in Ingress, which has different inclusion rules:

I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to Niantic’s Lightship database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. Do NOT use knowledge of S2 cells to misplace a pin into an empty one. That is abuse.

Unused wayspot might become power spot in future. So dont be discouraged or attempting to move wayspot into empty lv17 cell

What map are you using to see this infos? The cell map and the wayspots on it.

This is iitc with an overlay to show the S2 cells. The instructions at this link (which i can’t share directly per forum rules but have told I may screenshot) will tell you how to install in the readme.

BUT iitc is a map of Ingress portals, so it doesn’t show all wayspots - just portals. I don’t even know if it will continue to exist after the Scopely deal, and we know that Wayfarer nominations are not going to continue to sync to Ingress after the changeover. I am using it while I still can.
