Recently, in a “village” in the interior of Pernambuco, I made the last possible request for a PokéStop there, which in total is 5 points, 4 of which are already in the game: 1 gym and 3 PokéStops. I’d like to know if this fifth addition could somehow become a maximum energy point, to fully complete the area with 1 gym, 1 maximum energy point, and 3 PokéStops to make it 100%.
I’ll send two photos of the location, and in one of those photos, circled in red, is the location of the 5th accepted request today that isn’t yet in the game. I’d like it to become a Max Energy Point since this village is somewhat isolated in the countryside and there’s no way to leave without a car, and a Max Energy Point would be perfect for this community. I’ll also send the location of one of the accepted PokéStops so you can find it on the map.
Each of the 5 is in a separate cell so they will all be Pokestops/gyms.
The red pin wayspot shows a black circle around it which represents 22m. It has been observed that a max PowerPoint needs to be 22m from a pokestop or gym and in an occupied cell and therefore unable to be a pokestop/gym.
So you would need to find something in 1 of those 5 occupied cells far enough away to become a powerspot.
What about the cemetery? Not all places consider these suitable as we want to respect those tgat are grieving, but if there is an art work piece roughly in that triangle it may be possible- a statue or a famous local person?
Seriously? I didn’t know, I thought places like that weren’t allowed. I’ll take a look around to see if there’s anything that could be included in the game.
Yes, yes, I’ll look for something that fits without being disrespectful to the place and the people’s graves. I’ll look for some videos on the subject.
I would check the rest of the grid, especially north and west of that one yellow building near the upper left of the screenshot map. You only need a total of six wayspots to get a second gym and you’re already at four.
Especially check any non-residential buildings for artwork (that is ideally not advertising), and open spaces for athletic uses or equipment.
The northern part of the cemetery, too. As mentioned, not unremarkable or recent graves, but there may be statues or other artwork. (The one my mother’s family is at has a reflecting pond with benches, and my father’s side has several non-grave-related statues, such as native wild animals and golfers (it’s across the road from a golf course and has a golf themed section) and also allows families to leave wind chimes in the trees, has a veteran’s memorial plaque at the flagpole, etc.).
If this church has something in the very back (outside of the pink circle) like a cross or an artwork that could work. By the way, any restaurants/ food places could be submitted too, like Bar do Edinho Lajes
