Memorial plaque with portrait: Acceptable or "Face" rejection?

Hi everyone,

I’m seeking clarification on a nomination. This memorial plaque in a local cactus garden honors a key figure behind the collection.
The plaque includes her portrait. Since the “face” is part of the permanent memorial and not a bystander:
Is this photo acceptable under current Niantic guidelines?
Should the face be blurred/edited to avoid a “recognizable person” rejection?

I believe it’s a great local cultural marker, but I want to ensure the photo follows the rules. Thanks for the help!

Hi, the face being on the sign is not a problem for the Wayfarer criteria at all, don’t worry about that

The rejection criteria you had in mind is used for cases where a person is on the photo unrelated to the object and recognisable. Here it’s totally related
