just QQ - there is one S14 cell with 20+ PoIs, thus 3 gyms.
I would like to adjust location of one of PoI in this s14 cell, however I’m affraid that once the move will be approved it will trigger something on background and change our gym(s) to different PoIs.
Is it valid or it won’t happen? I mean, can moved PoI become as a new gym transferring from another one of these three?

EDIT: I’m curious what will happen in both cases - if I move one PoI to neighbour S14 cell OR if I keep it in same s14 cell
Do not move something just to manipulate the game. We have had reports both of gyms changing and gyms not changing. I can’t promise you what will happen. If the location is wrong, you should move it.
I’m not gonna manipulate anything, I just wanted to correct location and wanted to understand the logic behind. If it can destroy our gyms I won’t correct anything.
There is always a chance that an edit will cause a recalculation. There is a recent post here where a gym was retired and no new gym popped up to replace it, although the threshold was still met. I have also seen edit requests where the team chose a different location than the suggested one or decided to remove the wayspot completely.
Correcting the location within the L14 as long as it is not moving to an occupied L17 should be fine and nothing should change, but I can’t promise that.
I recently edited a gym location to be more accurate within the same s17 cell via help chat, and the gym remains.
Personally, I would not request a correction if it was going to move it out of its cell, just in case. I would also make contingency plans of submitting new things in the area in case someone else corrected it and something happened to cause the gyms to re-shuffle, and prepare for that eventuality
My general observations are that if the wayspot being moved is not a gym, then no gym recalculation will take place unless the wayspot is moved into a different level 14 S2 cell and pushes that cell over the threshold for its next gym. If the wayspot is a gym, that gym specifically may get recalculated depending on various factors. Like I say though, those are only my observations.
