While I was searching for more places to nominate, I found that one gym is located ~20-30m off its actual location. It should be in another cell (which is empty). In its surroundings, there are 2 more places that I want to nominate, but after recent experience, I’m a bit afraid that they can become “accepted” but never added to the game (soccer field and basketball field) just because this particular spot. I would like to report this to change but i’m also afraid that it can “destroy” this gym and this is one of very few in this area.
From current ingame location that POI is clearly visible (it also do not changed comparing to photodisc) so i don’t know what to do 
moving the gym to its correct location very well may demote the gym. but it may not. i like things to be correctly located, so i would ask help chat to do the move and provide evidence of the correct location. if it does change status and there are other things there to nominate, you should get a new gym. but it is up to you if you want to report it. i assume that you do not want to reveal the location so we can give you a more accurate answer about the L17 and L14 cells involved, but this article explains how we have observed gym promotion to work: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/

Go and count the number of Pokestops/Gyms in the L14 cell. It’s safe to move the gym if:
- There are 3 gyms and 17 or more Pokestops
- There are 2 gyms and between 4 and 17 Pokestops
- There is 1 gym and between 1 and 4 Pokestops
If, for example, there are 3 gyms and 10 Pokestops in the cell, then moving one of the gyms will trigger a recount and it will register that there aren’t enough Pokestops to support 3 gyms, and the gym that was moved will be demoted into a Pokestop.

It would be much easier with S2 cells clearly visible within Wayfarer. I mean, you can spot them there, but usually it’s visually buggy and not described if that’s L17 or other cell. Anyway here’s ss of that area
I’m talking about that bottom one - it should be at yellow spot or at least “closer” to it. Green are POIs i want to nominate (acutally football field is “in queue” now as i think current and possibly changed location of “problematic” waypoint should not be a problem there.
What’s actuall size of L17 cell?
Those aren’t cell lines, they’re just lines that are present on all satellite view photos.
If you can provide us the GPS coordinates, someone can check what the cell situation is like. I don’t have the necessary tools installed but @cyndiepooh and several others do.

Welll… so it seems like that’s extacly S2 cells as Niantic did not invent anything new. Am i not right?

It looks like the correct location is near the car in the same cell as it is currently in. There should be no change in status from making this move. Unless Niantic decides this is not an eligible nomination and should be removed. It looks good to me.

Well, that kinda throws a wrench into his plans. The cells that the sports fields are in are already occupied.
I guess you can still submit them, @OFFca69, but they’ll only be Power Spots and not Pokestops.

Yeah, pinning these at a decent spot on the edge (ie out of the way of people using them) would be eligible to be power spots - the pink circle is the radius
Edit: obviously can’t see if there’s a gate but you get the idea

It seems like spotting good POIs that also have their very own L17 is much harder than I thought… Anyway, I guess it’s still worth it to nominate those for PowerSpots as you wrote - but it’s sad that good points can not be added just because of that rule…
