Hello,
Just want to let you know that we are not nominating stop/gyms for PoGo, but rather Wayspots. Approved Wayspots get added to the Spatial/Lightship map, which is used by each Niantic game to determine game play locations, with some exceptions. Each game has their own density inclusion rules; PoGo uses S2 cells while Ingress has a 20 meter rule. More info about S2 cells can be found here:
https://pokemongohub.net/post/featured/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
If you need some additional support in regards to this nomination, please feel free to post some screenshots from your Contribution Management page. Make sure to include the title/description/location/photos/supporting info. The email screenshot doesn’t have all the info needed to see if this needs improvement or not.
Please use your own photos when submitting waypoints. Stealing photos from the internet is not permitted and can be a punishable offense.
Roli is right: these are 3rd party photos taken from news articles when a reverse image search is done. 3rd party photos are not allowed, and this is outlined in the Photo Guidelines:
The following should not be submitted and, when reviewing, should be considered as rejection criteria:
- Copyrighted and 3rd party photos (e.g. watermarked stock photos and photos from maps sites)
You must take your own photos of what you nominate. If this nomination is still in queue, I would withdraw it, then resubmit when you are able to take your own photos.
They started another thread about a rejected nomination, one that seems to be different due to the name and location, so this could be a case of where Wayspot Criteria needs to be reviewed, which I have advised of doing.
