This is crazy… What even is this? What’s sad is the current Wayspot location is the best location for the pin.
I feel like any Wayspot with multiple moves in the system should be pulled into Niantic voting so they can take a look at it.

This is very much a flaw in the system. Hopefully now that people can see their edits they won’t resubmit the same ones again when they have been waiting ages for resolution.
Assuming that multiple people aren’t also making similar edits that are invisible to each other of course.
This has been very common for me too while reviewing lately, could it be cause of the last change in the nominations that they are all rolling out together now?
I’ve also seen location edits that are in the same spot where the POI is currently located, probably cause it already got accepted and was sent multiple times.
Hopefully with this change in the nominations situations like this won’t happen anymore.
This is due to the fact that most editorial reports should have been reviewed and responded to within the upgrade equivalent range and not limited to the region, but the Wayfarer team did not do so, and reports have been stuck for years.
Therefore, the Wayfarer team should make it possible to cancel edit reports as soon as possible, even if they are still under review.
However, the Wayfarer team finally noticed this problem after the update, so it will be fixed in the near future.
I honestly think a lot of it is because edits were in limbo for so long, people are putting multiple edits in since they believe their other attempts were rejected and they were never told, or lost.
Fingers crossed they allow us to withdraw edits sooner rather than later
no hopefully niantic gives people the chance to withdraw edits first.
I’ve noticed a lot of comments when edits became visible that people didn’t realized they had duplicated similar requests as they thought they must’ve been lost in the system.
