Today, after the daily wayspot reset, multiple pokestops were removed without any reason why. Including one that is in the game for a few years. All pokestops meet the criteria from Niantic and have been removed without any reason. Even in Wayfarer they are not a wayspot anymore.
At the circles on the added picture there were pokestops. Can anyone please explain this to me, I find this very irritating because I worked really hard to get these in game.
The first pin looks like it is on SFPRP to me. That would be a reason for removal.
The last pin is at play equipment so may have been removed as a duplicate of another Wayspot for this playground - pieces should not be submitted separately.
The first pin is likely to be on private property, you are correct on that one.
The second one is a navigation sign from a cycling route in my city. I have nominated many of those and they always gets accepted. Because they meet the Niantic guidelines.
From the third one I have no idea. Maybe a duplicatie, but I dont think so because they pokestop is about a singular playground set.
Still the thing I dont understand is how everything at once can be deleted. Even on Niantic Wayfarer they are not visible anymore.

This looks like 1 continuous play area in my opinion and therefore only one pin to represent it - which is the one Cyndie has shown.
The only signs I can see around the the second pin are standard street signs. If it is one of them it would not qualify. If it is something else may we see it please.
We see this sort of pattern of removal when someone raises a report and staff have a broad look around.
I understand the frustration of losing wayspots however it looks like it should never been this way, so it is simply sorting this situation out.
The Cycle sign is generic infrastructure sign. If it were an NCN backed sign (numbered route) it would qualify. I would make an additional argument about Local Cycle Network being eligible, but don’t want to inadvertantly hijack the thread.
I can’t speak for why those ones were removed as Niantic took the decision to remove it. I don’t necessarily agree with the removal, but I don’t have enough knowledge to understand why they have been removed.
No, you do not receive any kind of notice of it being removed UNLESS Niantic thinks it was submitted abusively. Then they will send a warning email. For simple misunderstandings, they just remove.
Best practice is not to resubmit the removed Wayspots, even if you think reviewers may accept them again. If you believe one meets criteria, you can appeal for reinstatement in Wayspot Appeals but I do not think these do. Resubmitting ineligible nominations can be considered spamming and lead to action against your account.
