I work in a location with almost no pokestops and gyms in the area, there’s generally a lot more dynamax spots which doesn’t help once you’ve gotten 800 energy anyway
How does it work adding multiple stops at a shopping centre for example
Things like a post office pizza shop, or a statue that could be considered stops
But when taking photos they will be kind of similar because it’s a small location
Would you just try to get 1 approved at a time rather than submit multiple?
Those all sound like great places to submit, and I would try them all.
If you want to be sure to submit Wayspots that are eligible to become Pokestops or gyms, you will need to learn how Pokemon Go uses S2 cells. NEVER use this information to misplace a nomination, only to know where to look. This is a good article about the cells:
If you would like to leave the location, we can show you what the cells look like on iitc - a map of Ingress portals. Ingress is no longer a part of Wayfarer, so it won’t update with new Wayspots, but will show you where the cells are.
I would go ahead and submit everything. Be sure to check in the nomination map screen that they aren’t already Wayspots.
Welcome to the forum. You need to learn how s2 cell work first in order to prevent disappointment if wayspot doesnt appear. Some pokestop are located at s2 border so that it can appear very close to each other . But dont missplace wayspot submission in empty cell because of this. Personally i receive 30days suspension because of missplacement wayspot submission and edit location into empty cell.
If you are not sure what to submit you can post your general location here. Some people might be able to advise on what to submit. Or you can post some candidate photo and get advised.
Hey thanks for the replies friends , I have attached a Google photos screenshot of the place in question I would start, there are parks and other places around that should be suitable
This is how the L17 S2 cells hit over what I think is the shopping area. If the things you want to nominate don’t show on the map, be sure to provide a good supporting photo and possibly a link to prove they exist where you pinned them.
If there actually is a fitness gym where the Google label is, I would definitely submit that. If it is a chain, then community reviewer will often use the “Generic business” rejection, but they meet the exercise and being social criteria and are usually accepted on appeal.
A way that some of us use in addition to ensuring the content of a supplementary photo gives the best view of the surroundings and the submission object, is to use an app that prints the GPS on the photo.
GPSmapCamera is one that several of us use. Do check carefully as the GPS signal inside a shopping mall may be incorrect so do check carefully about the position.
Yeah, I’ve placed pins at the 2 things I wpuld probably try here.
That fitness center should be eligible. You may be able to get the Asian restaurant approved. Often those are places people like to go out in groups. Or you may want to go inside to see if there’s a mural on a wall. In my area, these kinds of restaurants often have murals or Selfie walls to try to stand out amongst the Instagram and Tik Tok generations.
You have a couple of major No-No places in here to stay away from - childcare and liquor store. The grocery store probably doesn’t have anything eligible. It isn’t eligible on its own. Sometimes those might have murals of the local area, depending on how much they want to engage their customers. But I don’t see that in the photos available online.
