My Nomination got rejected but it met all the critera

I generally wonder what more there is to say sometimes? This was a recent submission I did for a restaurant and to my surprise it was approved first time.

it’s recently opened, its the only pan asian restaurant in this area. If you like that specfic type of food alone, is a great reason to go to it. It has received great reviews, they organise events etc. To have it as a waystop would encourage more people to go to it. Thats why i nominated it.

I would definitely mention the events! Sounds like a great reason to visit.

As I said, I already approved it. Being the only restaurant of its type was enough for me, especially as I think the check for duplicates map was sparse. I approved it.

I appreciate that, i’ve added the events in my new submission. If it doesnt go through and i have to resubmit it, I’ll add that to it. Thank you

This is more like it.
Don’t put things like “new” in the description, remember this description could be there for years. In the supplementary you can put something like opened in 2024, a link to any articles about its opening ….anything in MEN online? Rapidly establishing itself as great place to go is a good phrase to use. You need something to explain why there are a low number of reviews.
The description should mention it is also great for events. Perhaps something about what looks like a living wall inside at the entrance - an unusual feature.
Are you starting to get the idea?

It should be possible to remove yourself from the reflection in your picture relatively easily if you wanted a straight on shot.

Whether that is classed as worth a rejection because of an edited image I don’t know but I won’t tell anyone if you don’t.

I edited a faded sign before so the logo came out better

I think heavy editing is not the way to go but just tweaking contrast seemed fine, wouldn’t have thought removing a reflection would be wrong either

My editing software makes it easier to remove a whole dang car than just the license plate, lol.

My phone has a kind of checkerboard blur pen option which is good for text. I havent used it on a nomination but it would likely be good for a license plate

Maybe wearing a balaclava could work for a closer picture of the restaurant?

Are you suggesting I put on a ninja outfit and head over?
I think some cropping would help but seriously as it is so obviously taken like that because of reflection it should be fine.

Ambassadorial duties :ninja:

I found some a real bot review, but a Generic business???:man_facepalming:

Looke like this not good, bad reviewer has return again. I should be appeal on this now.
