Wow I wrote up my standard reply, then realized this is the portal I was seeing.

I have no idea why it isn’t showing in Pokemon Go unless there is another Wayspot there that I can’t see in Ingress.

Hi there! Sorry about this luck. Can you confirm that there’s a nearby PokéStop or Gym named “The Garden” in the same park? If so, it’s likely that you’re nomination is “blocked” for inclusion into Pokémon GO because of that.

Import? Ingress doesn’t use imports and that would explain it.

Okay my standard reply that I hope explains to people looking for their pokestops is this:

I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the Lightship database, which can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. Yes, there is another pokestop called garden. I moved its position a little and selected this pokestop already exists. Maybe this will work.

That’s not a good idea. It is considered abuse and may have adverse impact on your account.

I can’t see the database Gendgi checked, but if the Wayspots are correctly located, then as Aaron said, moving them for game manipulation is considered abuse. Even if it is a large point of interest and the location you suggest is still on it.

I know the help statement only calls out editing away from the poi,

Invalid location edits:

• Attempts to move the Wayspot to a location away from the object with which it’s associated (for example, moving the Wayspot to a different city/country)
  Niantic Wayfarer

but Niantic has made clear on the forum that any attempt to relocate for game purposes is considered abuse.

I didn’t know that. One of the gardens in the area has been removed but my pokestop still doesn’t appear.
