My suggestions got approved but not appear on the game

I already got accepted 3 new WayStops on Pokémon Go in the last few weeks, they are near other PokeStops in the downtown area but they do not appear on the game and I don’t understand why

Not all wayspot appear in game. Depending on proximity and how many wayspot in the cell, it might appear as pokestop/gym/powerspot or it may not appear at all

Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)

I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question. I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. The S2 cell use has not been officially confirmed as far as I am aware, but staff has acknowledged there is an additional step after acceptance.
