Some of my approved waystops are not shown

Hello good people,
Some of my approved waystops are not shown in the game or the wayfarer map. Why is that? What else can I do in order to make them appear. Trying to make more stops /gyms in my village before the summer vacations period start.

The Wayfarer map is often a day or two behind, both on showing newly approved Wayspots, and then on showing them populating into the game.

So… are these stops newly approved this week?

Also, it is possible that some (or all) will not populate in game due to density rules. However these would still show in Wayfarer and could populate into the game at a later date if the situation changes in the area.

Hello and welcome @timosergio

If you can provide the names of the wayspots and the GPS coordinates, and when approved, we can have a look and see what the issue may be.

Linking the appropiate topic for this as well.

Welcome to the forums:hugs:

Sure
I will send them

These are the approved waystops that i dont see in the game:

Title: Prometheus
Date: 2025-11-01
Location: 37.9947753, 23.7333778

Title: Saint George’s Fountain
Date: 2026-04-07
Location: 38.004674, 23.7827447

Title: Aris - Cafe restaraunt
Date: 2026-04-24
Location: 38.3896841, 21.9171808

All of these Wayspots are too close to existing Pokestops or Gyms to appear in Pokemon Go. They all appear on the Wayfarer Map, however.

(For others: Corrected coordinates below)

Prometheus: 37.991705,23.732621

St George’s Fountain: 38.005034,23.783031

Aris - Cafe restaurant: 38.389583,21.917152

Thank you for your message.
Can I move them in order to be appeared in the game?

If they are in the correct position then the simple answer is No.

Moving them to make them appear in game would move them to an inaccurate position and would be seen as manipulation of the game board and fall under abuse which could lead to a ban.

If they are in the correct location then I would advise leaving them alone and look for something new to submit.

They all appear to be in the correct locations based on my initial review, or within a few metres (and the few metres wouldn’t change anything anyway).

The density rules are part of the Pokemon Go team’s chosen game design. These rules are not in control of the Wayfarer team (the team which manages these forums).

I understand. Thank you everyone so much for providing help and guidance and also for your patience. God bless you

If you gave us the gps coordinates from your submission emails, but they are live at different locations, you should be aware that reviewers can correct your pin in voting if they can see it is misplaced.

You may get some power spots out of the submissions too.

And it’s Athens! Should be plenty of historical and modern waypoints that could qualify so don’t get discouraged.

Just because they dont appear as pokestop doesnt mean they are useless. Those unused wayspot in the same cell with pokestop / gym might become powerspot when powerspot sync happen. Although community observed that it need to be at least 22m away from nearest wayspot
