It’s still best to wait 24 hours before upgrading due to ML. If you upgrade before 24 hours, there’s a greater chance that the upgraded nomination will be on hold for up to a week. ML typically will reject or send to queue after 24 hours, and so it’s best to wait at least this long before upgrading. I would recommend 24-48 hours after submitting before upgrading.
Personally, I’d rather practice some patience instead of trying to rush a nomination through.
