Hey, I don’t wanna argue about this but just to clarify i actually have followed almost all the advice from this specific thread. I am not trying to be rude by any way but If possible can you tell me what advice I havent followed that was possible to be followed?
And about the withdraw thing, I mostly use my mobile for the submissions and the messages in the community, when you leave the wayfarer page you have to sign in again using your account which sometimes takes time, also I receive updates from this thread more than 15 and sometimes 30 min late, hence when you told me about the withdrawal thing I tried to login but it was taking time and I was already late for some important work of mine and when I returned home it was already in voting. And if you don’t trust on the part where I said it takes time for the ninantic wayfarer to load on mobile I can send you a screen recording.
In the replies you can see the reply to your message from me was sent at 7:09 am from me and the 2nd one was also sent around the same time but the next reply was sent at 2:21 pm.

If I’ve known that we’re talking about the third party nomination my advice would have been and now still is: make a self report to help chat and let it delete.

For future reference, you can withdrew nomination using help chat. Anyway submitting 3rd party photo is subject to abuse ladder system..you are risking your account by not withdrawing your nomination.
I am not sure what should be done next. Maybe staff or ambo can tell

It may be good to add a photo that you have taken yourself for this wayspot and report the ineligible photo via help chat afterwards.
You can access the help chat by going to the Help page, a small chat bubble will show and ask you some prompts about the issue.

I would self report ASAP and not have an excuse for not reporting like saying you havent because you havent had time to go tak another photo… BEFORE someone else reports you.

Having direct conversation with Niantic/Scopely is one of two possible paths to proceed.
If you’d have choosen help chat you would have to go over “report wayspot → abuse”, tell them everything and let it remove (or if still in voting to withdraw it for you).
When you do those steps by yourselve there’s a chance to avoid or milder further sanctions. If you wait until someone reports you…
It is still a good wayspot. You can start it again knowing what to avoid.
Yes, i was talking now moving forward. As opposed to fellow Ambo Paulingzubats suggestion, since this seemed like a very timely matter, and waiting to add an additional photo may or may not be timely.

i didnt contact them, someone from niantic direct messaged me and then asked me for some details. i would send ss of the chats but i dont know if thats allowed
yup, i am also glad that this was resolved. didnt thought a few hours of delay in withdrawl would result in a 1 day warning and many people becoming a little angry on me. But that aside i am glad this was resolved
