You have been open about it. It seems honest mistake. There is no need to complicate. You lost your upgrade, and you need to resubmit.what matter is you learn from mistake and not do it again.

@AliceWonder1511 I have a question, i have a gym near me which is on one of the most busy areas in my area+The restraunt has been closed for 1 year+. should I report the gym for invalid location?

If the business is closed, reporting for removal is the right way to go. But you need to know the consequences. Is there any wayspot that can replace the gym? The reported gym will be gone forever. You might want to hold reporting before you got replacement. The new gym will be random based on what wayspot exist in that cell. This will ensure smooth transition in gameplay.

0-1 pokestops → 0 gyms

2-5 pokestops → 1 gym

6-19 pokestops → 2 gyms

20 or more pokestops → 3 gyms
