Need help to determine if these are good wayspots

Hi, there are some things which I can’t really find anywhere if they can be nominated, and would really appreciate some clear clarifications if they are eligible or not

my main question is about directional signs, which are quite common in this park (coordinates: 32.182231, 34.924920) because it’s quite large with a lot of activities and a lot of visitors, so get confused where is what. In response the city made a lot of directional signs.

that kind of sign is the most common out of all of them,

but there are also signs like these:

Another kind of signs:

These kinds of signs give some basic instructions for the places (spesifically first & third pictures sports playground (“ninja compound”), second small bike playground and last children’s playground)

also there are these (permenant) trail markers:

the first one markes a trail throughout the park, second is a mess produced sign in the area. The problem the second is that they are not marked (no number, adress etc..) so they are all the same

and since I’m already creating this post, I will be glad to receive some clarification about permenant notice boards placed by the city (which are used for publishing local events, and NOT death posts (the things people hang when someone dies))

That’s an example, although picture is not the best (it’s near a road and the board is quite large so it’s difficult to take a full picture of it without going down to the road)

How about gazebo, park signage, or bench/picnic table? I think thats gazebo behind toilet sign right? Or no?

When you are trying to decide if something meets criteria, you often need to go back to the main three tenets listed here: Niantic Wayfarer

Must meet at least one of the three eligibility criteria

  • A great place for exploration
  • A great place for exercise
  • A great place to be social with others

It would not be possible to make a clarification on every single sign possible. There is one here that may help you with some of these:

But instead of looking for a precedent for each object you want to submit, you should think about whether you can make a case that it is a great place for exercise, exploration, or being social. For example, a park name sign would represent a great place for all three criteria, but a park rules sign would not encourage any of those.

Make sure you know about s2 rules too because you are submitting wayspot not pokestop. So not everthing approved will appear in pogo

It seems very packed ald

I see,
could the direction signs be eligible then? because they do encourage exploration (same with the notice board)

and I wonder if the trail marker is eligible since it’s very generic, not marked or anything

and thank you for the rules signs clarification

You could read here for more information. This one really help with many example

Directional sign might be eligible but because i cant read it, i will leave it to other to comment. But u should read the link with example 1st

Anyway looks generic doesnt means ineligible

I’m aware about it, there have been cases in the past in dynamax & gmax events in which there weren’t any dynamax spots at all, so I’m trying to make as many potential dynamax spots as possible to lower the chances of that happening again (but also to diversify their spawn locations so there will be a reason to visit less popular areas inside the park).

Also already sent that Gazebo

Let us know if any of these Wayspots become Powerspots. I haven’t seen a report of a newly accepted Wayspot becoming a Powerspot since November 5. I hope they continue to add Powerspots, especially where there aren’t any!
