I would like to know why this waypoint was removed after being accepted

This waypoint is in the same city and did not get removed :
Both tags are alone on raw concrete pillar, as such, they don’t meet the following criteria you mention “but due to the overwhelming number of names and different styles added to this piece, there is evidence to suggest it is not an intentional work of art”.
For both is a single work to enligh raw concrete and give more colors in the city.
Just put back the way point in game as it is not vandalism as described.

This is not a simple area as it involves judgement calls, and our perception of where the boundaries lie will vary depending on our background.
What is important is that it is about that individual wayspot as a whole. Comparing to another is not going to help as each is unique.
If you can demonstrate that this is not vandalism then you might make progress - where I am some places like this have been officially designated graffiti walls and are not considered vandalism. The artistic quality varies, but it might be temporary as another street artist paints over it.
In other words make a case that focuses on this spot and doesn’t just reference others.

I have given you issues that I believe that you will need to address if you do. I should be clear that I am not staff to make any decision - those names will begin with with “Niantic” when they respond.
There are even people going to work everyday by foot by the pass

I intended to put all the possible removal reasons I could see into the same post, but I did not think that was the right thing to do since the comment had already been responded to.
I did not mention that a public authority or property owner could have made the request because I did not think it was likely to be that reason here. But is another possibility.

You don’t know the place and you think you able to judge, i’ll give you some details because for some reason it appears I lives here :
First : The area is public and accesible to people, workers use this way to exit the plant you see on the back, the side way to access the area are maintened several times per year by city staff and Thy Marcinelle staff
Second : The message have a meaning for all the people who know how hard it is to work and lives near the plant (metal casting/ heavy industry)
Third : If the tag was considered vandalism the companie that share the ownership of the parking (aka Thy Marcinelle) would have clean and erased the tag.
Thus, this tag has more value that standard, and that why i think it make a good Way points.

You asked why it was removed, so I gave you reasons that Niantic may have used in deciding to remove this Wayspot. Someone had to have asked for removal of this Wayspot. I tried to help.

And that is the advice that has been offered.
I can only recommend you listen to that advice even if it’s not what you want to hear.
Co spider what has been said and if you wish to make a formal appeal for restoration make the case in Wayspot Appeals.
Focus your request on why this wayspot as a whole unique point meets criteria for acceptance.
Weel, appeals has been made.
i’m just angry cause I spend time to defend this way point, it got accepted,
Then i spend time asking why it was not in game, and it finaly get in game after several time the normal acceptance time
And now that I can be proud of having created a new waystop and sharing present with friend in PoGo, it got erased (without a mail to explain why to the creator), all farmed present in pogo got erased…
So that why i was arguing harshly.
(Just imaging working on something and it’s erased and you don’t know why …)
I understand the frustration, many of us will recognise the ups and downs.
The request is that whilst feeling this way you recognise that people are trying to help, and may say things that you don’t want to hear, which feels like making it worse. But they are just being honest and not giving false hope.
