I don’t think it matters who manages the stop, and I’d be willing to bet they can accomplish it.
@NianticTintino please answer about whether we should be reporting these on SFPRP. Every one I have seen has been on SFPRP. If that is part of the experiment, I don’t want to bog you down with all the reports. But if you are counting on us to report the ones in ineligible locations, I want to help.
Could they revive reviewing challenges the next time they add a batch of these? Reviewers could only check for dangerous or completely inappropriate locations instead of the usual standards. It would filter out the worst of these.
You’re welcome to report these Wayspots (or any other for that matter) if you believe they violate any of the criteria.
@NianticTintino @NianticAaron Is there going to be a roll out of more of these new wayspots? I have yet to see any of these new wayspots anywhere remotely near me.
I’m unable to confirm this at this time but if there’s any addition in future, it will be communicated.
I appreciate the fast response.
Wow what a fabulous idea, hopefully this will be considered for regional areas within Australia, as I can see this is would be very beneficial. ![]()
Hello,
First of all, thank you! I’m from a part of Spain where I had simply run out of possible POIs to submit and, suddenly, a lot of new ones were created automatically!
As feedback, this change has been very positive. I hope that, when measuring the effects of this test, you take into consideration the previous pokestops that became gyms thanks to this, as I’m sure most new activity created by this will be reflected there.
Gift sending in Pokemon Go has suffered a bit from the default pictures and it might be worth studying adding a nicer looking picture or identifying these stops differently.
Another piece of feedback also related to gift sending in Pokemon Go is that I straight up send my home address and daily walks to my remote friend list when sending gifts. More subtle names that do not include street names would be more appropiate and, honestly, safer.
I and my community would love for these stops to stay and believe it’s a great addition overall. Thanks again!
