Got my first application approved on the 7th July this year but nothing has been put in place my wife has also been accepted twice and her stops are added the next day.
Any idea what’s happening?
I’m guessing what happened is, that your submission is near a different pokestop and in the same s17 cell as the other. These submissions won’t show in the game although they are in the database.
Sometimes it’s like that when you get submissions accepted.

The nomination prompts do not make it clear, but you are submitting a Wayspot, not a Pokestop. A Wayspot will only be eligible to go live in Pokemon Go if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. If you want to leave the gps coordinates, someone can confirm that this is what happened. And welcome to the forum @mccoll2u !

Based on the screenshot, I tried to look around to see where the nomination could be. So I am guessing at the moment that it hasn’t made it into Ingress as well, but like already said, it would it be possible to get the co-ordinates of where the nomination is placed?
