Hello,
I had a nomination get approved for a PokeStop back in March 2024 and it has not been added into the game yet. Is there something that can be done to get this nomination added?

Your nomination is in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as “Civic park tennis court”, and Pokémon Go only allows for one Pokéstop or Gym per Level 17 S2 Cell. If you want to read more about the S2 Cell system that Pokémon Go uses, check this article.

It’s also showing up in Ingress as well as an active Wayspot,that was an easy find with the address so it is as @hankwolfman states most likely something to do with the rules set by these pesky S2 Cells.
I need to read up on them again as well.

Niantic will not talk about this, but it is common knowledge within the playing community. It is I portant to understand otherwise wayfinding can be a frustrating and dispiriting experience.
First read this article which does a good job of explaining how the mapping software impacts on Pokémon Go
Most Wayfinders that want to check the cell impact have an ingress account (any level) and use that to access the Ingess Intel information which provides very good (but not perfect) coverage of wayspots. Google IITC which is a tool that then provides an overlay of the cell lines so you can see what it all looks like.
