Why is it that, in many cases, there is a delay in Niantic Spatial receiving a submitted portal and THEN, once an email is received by the submitter, the portal is ALREADY in voting. This means that there is no opportunity to edit. If I am on a long walk (or if it is poor weather), I often put random text in the ‘about’ box, so that I can do more thorough research later, then edit.
Therefore it feels a waste of time for me to be making submissions that are highly likely to bd refused.
I suggest a delay is built into moving portals to ‘in voting’ to allow an opportunity for editing or putting on hold.
