Nomination Denied, Appeal not available

Weirdly this nomination was denied for “being on private property” when it is decidedly not on private property. However when I went to appeal I can’t find the option to do so.

Hello @melvinsmif

Welcome to the forum. I’m guessing you have recently appealed a couple of other nominations recently. You can have a max of 2 appeals available. Once used they replenish after 15 days. So you should have one within a couple weeks.

As for the LFL… Checking the address in the nomination it appears that this is a residential area of single family homes. If the LFL is on one of these properties it should rightly be rejected for Single Family Private Residential Property (SFPRP). Though I did not actually see the LFL in relation to the address. So maybe I missed something?

Weird that it was tagged as the address, it’s actually a sidewalk.

That screenshot shows the approximate address. You can get the exact coordinates of the pin from the submission email if you still have it. It will be listed right after the second photo.

Being that there is a home in the background of the main photo and is located on the yard of the home, not on the easement between the street and sidewalk, this does appear to be on SFPRP. LFLs may be eligible, but if they are on SFPFP, they are not, as those are ineligible locations. Here;’s how Street View looks here, and I can imagine the LFL on the yard, not the sidewalk.
