Nomination Not Showing Up on Wayfarer

  • I nominated a Wayspot through Pokémon GO. It went through on the app, but it’s not showing up under contributions in Wayfarer itself.

  • Saturday, January 4, 2024 at roughly 3:00 pm CST

  • iPhone 14 Plus – iOS 18.3 (22D5034e)

  • Pokémon GO (Version 0.343.1)

Did you get an email confirmation it had been submitted?

I went and looked at it turns out I did not. It’s odd because it definitely uploaded according to POGO.

Sometimes an upload will fail but still consume a nomination. This can happen if your signal strength is poor or your photos are too large/the wrong format. The only thing you can do in such situations is resubmit the nomination.
