My new poke stop nomination has been accepted but is not appearing in Pokémon go and says it is a way spot in other niantic games. I understand the criteria around S2 cells and made sure my nomination is in its own cell. Even if my nomination meets the criteria for all their games, does it only get selected for one of their games? and is it random?

How long ago was it accepted? The red ! will show before the Pokestop/gym will. Those sync into the game board once a day normally about a couple of hours from now if accepted by the cutoff time, and around that time of day the next day if it missed the cut off.
I got the confirmation email that it was accepted last night at 11
We don’t know your location or timezone, which is why Cyndie asked how long ago 
If it’s recent there is a strong possibility it just didn’t make the cutoff time for syncing into Pokémon GO.

In addition to what was shared above, I wanted to add that wayspots get accepted to the Lightship database. Then each Niantic games judges the new wayspots in Lightship and use their own inclusion rules. So an accepted wayspot could be in none, one, several, or all games once the syncs have happened.

Sorry about that, it was about 13 hours ago that I got the confirmation email.
I think Pokémon GO sync should be uhh soon? Check again throughout the next few hours and let us know.
This is essentially why the acceptance email says “may take up to 48 hours to appear”

Sorry about that I am fairly new to wayfarer. I should have tagged it “nomination support” to begin with. Also I have checked back and can now see the poke stop in the distance. Thank you for all your help and information

No worries at all, and glad it’s there! As sync had yet to roll around it became clearer it probably wasn’t worth keeping it in the bug reports category
