Nomination Reviews From Neighbouring Country

Hi, I don’t know if this is the right section to ask, but I just want to ask why I keep receiving nomination reviews from my neighbour country, Thailand.

My home location is in Kedah, Malaysia. It is located in the northern part of Malaysia and borders Thailand.

I noticed the issue a few days ago when I started mass reviewing nominations. The last time I reviewed (about a month ago) this issue was not there. Yes, there were one or two nominations from Thailand, but I just pressed skip. Now, 95% of the nominations are from Thailand. It is to the point that I cannot press skip anymore.

Nomination from Thailand are generally in Thai which I cannot read or understand. I don’t think I can give the best reviews when I don’t understand what is it that I’m reviewing.

Is there anything I can do to make the nominations coming to me are only from my country or even if its from Thailand, make it in English only?

Hello,

This is normal. Your review area may cover neighboring countries, especially your upgrade review area. I’m in the northern US, and I get reviews from all over the US, as well as northern Mexico and Puerto Rico, where Spanish is more common. I’m not fluent in Spanish, but using a translator is best to determine if the info provided in the title/description/supporting info is correct.

I personally review on my laptop, and I use Chrome while reviewing, as it has Google Translate built into it. You may want to consider using a browser with a built-in translator, or have another app or website for translations open.

Thats normal. There is not much you can do. You can put bonus location in east malaysian country. It will probably input more nomination from east malaysia. But at the same time, more indonesian nomination will probably appear. I figured it will be easier to review
