A hidden underground room, the heart of Montirone’s Alpine community evenings and gatherings. A unique place, rich in history, a hub for local families.
This underground shelter is a symbol of local tradition and a vibrant meeting point for the community. Its unique structure makes it a distinctive landmark in the area.
This was completely rejected, not duplicate. Any chance for It to go through or should I give up?
Use Niantic Wayfarer and you can include up to 5 supporting photos.
This seems eligible, so it is worth retrying. If you want advice on the title or text, please post them. Also, if you don’t understand the rejection reason(s), please post them.
I would include less buzzwords like “unique” and “vibrant” and more explanation and evidence of what this actually is and what people do there.
Is this in Montirone around Brescia? The place doesn’t look very mountainous to me, so why is there an alpine refuge and are we sure it is alpine? What are the “local traditions” you mention? It sounds very interesting but very hollow without context.
Is there any way to book the refuge, any information about it online, since it seems to be such a vital place for the area?
Basically any information that would make it go from “basement with a sign” to “place to explore and/or socialize” would help make your case.
If this text comes from an AI tool I would not nominate it without independently checking it is correct.
If you are able to share the location we are happy to help you research the POI and brainstorm how to best communicate its importance.
Sure, the Place does exist for real, it’s Just that I don’t know much about It, only that’s for Alpine’s and family, I entered once in that Place. It’s next to a monument for Alpine’s that have fallen (that went through and Is now a Wayspot (not pokestop)).
These are the coordinates of the refuge 45.447234, 10.228470
It’s inside a park, so maybe not that Easy to find and look for
Myself hasnt known it existed for years, but I Always were fascinated by what It could be
It isn’t open at all time ofc, but safe to reach (literally a walk in the park)
Hope sbd can help me have It go through, I Need help with everything since I received and e-mail saying “rejected”, not even "try again with this and that)
I asked my mom, She said:
It’s a “little house”, built by Alpines where they meet sometimes, but I entered once, everyone can enter, it’s like a club
We may not know more than you do, as the person onsite and the submitter of the place.
In most cases, you have to detail why the busswords apply. Simply saying “rich in history” without anything to add may be inapplicable especially if online documentation cannot be found.
Please check the Contribution Management page. It has preprompted rejection reasons that we can hammer in.
Definitely want to try and see if you can get more specific information about it; instead of saying rich in history, say built in (year) by (family/community) for shelter from (war/storage /etc) and since converted into a (hangout/restaurant/etc) for locals.
Getting interior pictures would probably help, especially in use as suggested already or clearly showing it’s a place that gets used.
Feel free to post more info and pictures you have if you’d like specific suggestions on how to submit.
Yes yes. It was “our team” and It said:
The proposal lacks uniqueness or cultural and historical significance.
But idk how to improve my nomination, nor what title nor what description
