We can’t say why it was voted on they way it was; every Wayfarer votes differently, but all should follow the criteria. We are told that we need to use our best judgment when reviewing, as long as we follow criteria.
Without seeing the entire nomination, it’s hard for us to fully say why someone may have rejected this as not being permanent and distinct, which is what the temporary/distinct rejection reason is for, or why they chose generic business, although some reviewers believe this to be the best way to reject, even if the POI isn’t a generic business such as a grocery store or fast food chain.
What we have been told in regards to making sure we reject a nomination while reviewing to to thumbs down on one of the first 4 questions.
