From your perspective of simply wanting places in the game I can see why you consider what you are doing as ok because you see it as a spot the game with no other significance.
From the perspective of Niantic and the Wayfarer Team they are making a map of the world and therefore objects need to be where they are or the map has no meaning.
They write the rules, and if you want to take part in wayfarer then you need to follow those rules. If you choose not to follow those rules now that you are fully aware, there are consequences.
I would strongly advise accepting and sticking to those rules.

Itās not about what I think. Itās about the Niantic rules. If you believe the rules donāt apply to you, carry on. If you lose access to Wayfarer and any games, then take your anger out on everyone else other than yourself. Just remember, itās everyone elses faultā¦ not yours.
