Now that the games are split, if you want your POi to appear in both PoGo and Ingress. It’s going to require you to make your submission twice.
I did it today for the first time. Had to remember, there is no way currently (30 May 2025) to edit a nomination via Ingress. So it needs to be done fully at the time of submission.
Will I do it every time? Hmmmm for now, yes. Long term, not sure. My heart will always be with Wayfarer and I play PoGo more than Ingress.

Well done
I have yet to make a nomination since the split.
I am finding it hard.
I always did wayfarer in ingress, never in pogo. I slowly built up my stats since Oct 2018. My reward was to populate the Pokémon Go map and grow communities as side order I knew I was plenty of places for Ingress to play… ….and I also really liked adding to one core Wayfarer database - a global map.
That has all changed
I will get there I just need to break the ice. Will post once I do
But for now it will be pogo only, will see how things shape up.

I haven’t submitted any nominations since they were reenabled in Ingress, mainly due to the lack of editing. I’ve been submitting edits that are mainly cleaning up titles and descriptions that may have misspellings or grammar issues.
Also, most of what I’ve submitted to be new Wayspots for Scopely games aren’t in areas that I normally play in; I just happened to be in the area and made the submissions via PoGo. I know that one for sure would be eligible for Ingress after checking the map, and the PoGo submission I did edit after submitting, so I think that one might be ok to submit for Ingress, but I may wait until we have Recon management up and running.
Typically I’m submitting when out and about with family.
I don’t want to hang back for too long, so it’s just enough time to do one nomination and Ingress wins out for me.
Maybe I’ll submit in Pokémon Go too if I have time, but that’s less likely.
It’s going to be interesting if one get approved in one app and denied in the other. Assuming that it was following the same criteria.
The submission I talked about was accepted, and though it’s in an occupied cell in PoGo already, it could be used as a Power Spot. It also is an art installation at one of the libraries in town (I found more info on it after submitting, such as the artists and website with more info, hence the edit), so it would most likely be eligible for Ingress.
Here’s what I submitting, if curious: Wellspring for the World in Fargo, ND
And the other submission that I had questions about was approved today, so I’ll add it to my list of spots to submit via Ingress once Recon is fully up and running.
