I have no idea how these wayspots could be approved.
Whether there were flaws and biases in the review process that led to the approval of applications that should have been rejected.
Please assist us in removal of these ineligible Wayspots.
Thank you.

There’s a high chance this was intentional.

Have you reported these using the web form?

The credibility of some reviewers is highly questionable.
I suspect that certain Wayspots are being approved through the use of multiple accounts, where the same individuals simultaneously act as both applicants and reviewers to manipulate the system.
If the same group of people is responsible for reviewing Wayspots in that region, rejection is almost a foregone conclusion for submissons of Wayspot removal. Therefore, I am requesting official intervention from Niantic to remove these ineligible Wayspots.

I hate this form because of this specific issue. Just pick something, then write what the issue is in the text box. All my emails using this form say something like
Also, the automated acknowledgement email may ask for your credentials as property owner, even if you stated that you are not. Do not reply to this email. When a person responds, it will have their name. You can respond to that one if they need more information.

As a Wayfarer reviewer, I help Niantic maintain spatial data accuracy. This process is incredibly time-consuming and labor-intensive, offering little to no personal benefit; frankly, it only serves Niantic’s interests. Whether these abnormal Wayspots remain in the game doesn’t affect me at all—I’m not even a player in that area. I simply happened to discover these anomalies while reviewing other cases, noting they clearly violate our review guidelines.
Furthermore, the feedback form is poorly designed, making it impossible to submit accurate information. It seriously needs a redesign. For instance, why is there a field asking if I am the ‘property owner’? Most owners don’t play Pokémon GO or Pikmin Bloom; why would they care about a piece of virtual data?
Lastly, the Wayfarer booth at the 2026 GO Tour in Tainan was a major disappointment. There was almost nothing there, providing zero sense of engagement. It feels as though Niantic doesn’t truly value its reviewers.

I agree the form and the process are both awful. The Reporting Abuse form also linked at the top here is easier to use, but since this probably wasn’t originally abuse, I think the form you were pointed to would be preferred. Or you can just use the Wayfarer Map and submit a removal report for each Wayspot from there. I didn’t want to make suggestions of other ways to report to confuse.
The property owner field is there because Niantic will always grant a request for removal by a negatively affected property owner. I usually refer to this particular form as the property owner form.
I can’t comment about the booth. That could be good feedback for the team. Wayfarer Ambassador applications are open right now if you want a voice!
