No there isn’t and in the colder months as Canada usually is in winter it’s hard for me to get out and walk around when I live with arthritis in my knees and hips and your talking about want/need to play maybe if you got rid of some features maybe people wouldn’t be out driving around while playing and getting their daily tasks done like spin a stop unlike me stuck in the house
As I am a senior citizen, I can understand the aches and pains. If you can’t get out of the house, you may want to consider playing a different game.
I have played Pokemon since the day it first came out on Pokemon cards and gameboy how can you sit back and tell a fan of Pokemon to play a different game
Yeah. Sorry. I guess several of us were all typing at the same time.
I’ve also been playing Pokémon since Red and Blue first got released. I’ve been playing Pokémon Go since day 1.
If we had weather that was as bad as parts of North America has been experiencing currently, I would not go out and play Pokémon Go. I would instead play one of the other Pokémon games that I own that is designed to be played at home.
Yes, Pokémon Go encourages you to keep streaks going, but you shouldn’t be risking your health to do that. It is fine to skip playing Pokémon Go some days.
And again there are events that take place every week or every other week and I didn’t pay to participate in said events just to simply skip a few days just because America isn’t as cold as Canada doesn’t mean Canada should miss out on the things you do in the game due to cold weather
I did not tell you not to play. I said to consider other games.
If you don’t like the gameplay features, this is the wrong place to discuss that. You should message Pokemon Go support. Or just not use those features. This forum is just for discussing Wayspots.
You may be encouraged by the latest test Niantic is running. Many of these are showing up at people’s homes. Testing New Wayspots in Pokémon GO - #2 by NianticTintino
We see a statement about the categories being a list of what is eligible and want to get that corrected ASAP. I don’t know how it looks on mobile, but when I am typing on my laptop, I cannot see that others are also typing. If I see someone else is already replying that I know will address the issue well, I do hold off from making a comment. But yes, we as a group are passionate about how bad this category list is for making good nominations.
I also have health issues but in my case this was the reason I started playing Pokemon Go. When Health and Weather allow it gives me the encouragement to get out. When I can’t I don’t. You have to play to your situations. I can no longer play football (soccer) I don’t expect them to change the rules for me.
I have also saved my in game coins so through the colder months I can afford a few Remote Raid Passes so I can continue to play.
Many of us contributing to try and help are actually U.K. based.
So we do t get it as cold or as in the summer as hot as Canada can get.
And i am another who is older and whose body is complaining. And I also have nothing even close to reaching from home.
I understand about streaks….i’m not competitive but I like to keep my own streaks going and it is tough if you just can’t but that happens.
From playing PoGo I have learnt to be patient and something will generally return.
But for events 1 pokestop is not going to make a huge difference.
When you get a chance do look around that grocers. Is it part of a chain or truly independent? Think about it not as a shop about what might be in there that links it to the community.
It’s not the coins or raids that upset me it’s the fact the if I don’t get out I can’t do most of the tasks the need to be done to complete research tasks or the pass tasks like spin a pokestop on several different days or explore 5-20km to hatch eggs like I have to do under the January pass and not everyone can do that in the colder months of winter cause there are weather conditions that Canadians can’t control so and I really don’t think that it’s fair that Canada has to play by American standards
The independent grocer is a chain that stretches across Canada
Nobody can control the weather.
It’s not American Standards it’s Worldwide Standards. What you are suggesting is a different set of rules for every country, maybe every state / county / city. This is not do-able. You have to play to your situation.
I know that I am likely not to be able to get out as much through the Winter Months so I don’t but that pass.
They do stamps where I am and from what I understand after so many stamps it is like a discount on stuff like pots and pans
I’ve added an example of what I mean by noticeboard to my previous post.
I saw that and no they don’t
This is looking more like a “Generic Business” so the Rejection is correct.
We can’t control the weather but if you are happy to give the location then someone may take a look and give some suggestions.
Unfortunately, some areas just don’t have as many eligible locations as others.
Good Luck.
I think it’s hilarious that OP is yelling about American (meaning US) Pokemon GO gaming standards in this thread mostly to UK/British Wayfinders.
None of the gaming issues are things we can solve in the Wayfarer forum. And none of the US “issues” can be solved by these Brits.
@Glawhantojar @MissMitose12 can we get some Canadians in here?
OP DO NOT GIVE ANYMORE INFORMATION. You have already doxxed your house location.
