Pokestop by my house

Dear fellow Canadian,

As someone who has frequented several Canadian provinces in Winter, including Manitoba, along with several Northern US States, including Minnesota…

Please stop acting like the weather in Canada is so much worse than it is in the United States.
It’s not. Yes, there are parts of Canada that get cold. Ontario was colder than the Arctic circle the other day. This isn’t new, and it’s not something unique to Canada.

At the end of the day, the weather around you impacting your ability to play Pokémon GO is not a Wayfarer problem!
The lack of Pokéstops and spawns at your house is not a Wayfarer problem!

If you are upset about the lack of inclusivity and accessibility of Pokémon GO, then I suggest you take that up with the Pokémon GO team. Everybody plays the game with the same standards as everybody else. This is how a geo-location based mobile game works. It’s going to be amazing for some, and not so great for others. But one last time, the issues you’re having, are not a Wayfarer problem!

Sorry.

“Your Independent Grocer” (Or Yig as we call them up here) are a “mid-tier discount” grocery brand that’s franchised but ultimately owned by one of the largest grocery store brands in the country.

Yes be happy!!! I have to walk a mile to get to the closest wayspot or maxi battle location. And it is 25 miles to the closest active Pokemon group for meetups and community days! 5 months playing now and not yet made it to community day. Unsafe to drive tractor that far.

I get it, I’ve had a hip replacement due to osteoarthritis but I still go out and play sometimes both before and after that surgery (and the multiple others!!). But if the weather is bad, I raid remotely and get my balls and other items from gifts.

I have submitted a grocery type store before, but they are run by volunteers and promote products produced by a farm that employs people with disabilities so have alot of community benefit (plus a good place for advice on sustainable products too). So stores arent ineligible, they’re just not often good places to socialise or explore, but this one was.
