Pokestop disappeared after slight position adjustment

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Geschichtstafel Luettringhausen Kirche
  • Location (lat/lon): 51.207927,7.236082
  • City: Remscheid
  • Country: Deutschland
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): Recent changes to the local map were that the Pokestop “Geschichtstafel: Gemeindeschule” got added, but it should be in the cell to the south (and in the correct location down to a few cm), and the PoI “Geschichtstafel Luettringhausen Kirche” got moved within the same cell. It was an active Pokestop this morning, but got disabled by now.

If the wayspot should be active, would it be possible to activate the church itself instead? Its just the “nicer wayspot” since there already are plenty of historic plaques in the area, and the church is a landmark itself. The Church got disabled after i moved the PoI a few meters closer to the entrance due to being in the same cell as the historic plaque.

Also, for me it shows the historic plaque of the church as still active (tho thats probably just wayfarer tools?) and the historic plaque south of it as inactive (btw, don’t worry, it has “Schule” in the name but that has been closed in 1861.)

Geschichtstafel: Gemeindeschule (51.207415,7.236126) is in the cell to the south of the church

Geschichtstafel Luettringhausen Kirche (51.207952,7.236113) is showing as the active wayspot, but if this gets removed (the wayfarer map is always out-of-date), then either Evangelische Kirche Lüttringhausen (51.207842,7.236013) or Geschichtstafel "Das Opferhaus (51.207658,7.235821) will take over.

That’s what i thought too, but it just disappeared and none of the other spots took its place.

I’m not entirely sure what you are asking here, but why don’t you request the move through help chat using geotagged images?

The move has already happened, and is probably what caused the spots to disappear.

I thought that you were asking to move the plaque? Nothing else can be done beyond making sure everything is in its correct location

Everything is in the correct location, however one cell has 3 powerspots and no Pokestop.

Except that the spot got turned into a powerspot and none of the others got turned into a Pokestop.

“Geschichtstafel: Gemeindeschule” is a Pokestop now but it’s in the next cell to the south.

Ohh, now I understand. I would wait for the next regular sync and if nothing happens file a bug report?

Sounds like a good plan tbh. When syncs happen, does it have like a rough schedule? Every 48h or something?

Usually once a day for pokestops and gyms (not at the moment because there’s an issue), around 8pm in Germany, and usually on the 4th of a month for powerspots

It got changed this morning so i think the issue might be fixed…

No, there was a manual sync last night, but regular sync has not been fixed

A sync for today was reported to WDD about an hour ago! I was not expecting one.
