I submitted three POI in my local club four years ago. The other day one of them dissapeared.
It’s still there on the wall (it’s a mural inside a resturant) and it’s still in wayfarers system by looking at the map. What could have caused this? There is still two other ones in that resturant.
Embers Catholic club Campbelltown NSW Australia if anyone wants to check
If you can post the location coordinates this would make it easier for fellow wayfarers to have a look. The coordinates will look something like 22.21672, -2.83479
Embers Charcoal Kitchen Mural is showing as a live pokestop
Kurt Cobain Mural is showing as a live pokestop
All You Need Mural is correctly showing as inactive (same cell as Kurt Cobain Mural)
Everything looks OK on the map. Does this match what you see in Pokemon Go?
if all three of these showed as pokestops, this appears to have been incorrect and the situation has corrected itself. Kurt Cobain should get used as a powerspot on rotation, meaning sometimes it will be an active powerspot, sometimes an inactive powerspot and sometimes a hidden powerspot.
For the last 3 years they were all pokestops. Just before that one of them disappeared. I emailed Niantic directly and they corrected it and it re appeared but in the last week it’s gone again. So explain how it’s correct to remove something that was in game?
I can’t explain why it was ever visible as a pokestop or why Niantic re-enabled it when it was removed. Everything currently looks correct and that wayspot should not be a pokestop, based on the community understanding of S2 cells.
If it was always like this I think you were in luck with 3 remaining when it should have been 2. It looks like the system has just applied the normal rules and so there is nothing wrong. It is frustrating because it’s a change from what you had, but corrections like this happen.
