Pokestop ended up in the wrong cell

I’ve uploaded a stop (Buurthuis het Theresiahuis) located at Vekenweg 2, 1663 BA De Weere, Nederland. The community center got approved, but it sadly is just on the edge of the wrong cell, which already is filled, resulting it being unaccesable in Pokemon GO. Could this location be somehow adjusted so it could be accessed? It would really only be a few metres to the south I think.

Inaccurate locations are not allowed for Wayspots, which is what we are actually creating, even if it is to move a Wayspot to another S2 cell just to get a stop/gym in PoGo. Inaccurately placing Wayspots could be seen as abuse, and could lead to some form of enforcement, such as a warning or even a ban.

I assume that the orange :grey_exclamation: is where the Wayspot is currently. However, looking at it on the Lightship map, it doesn’t appear to be on the building. The coordinates in Lightship right now are 52.721399999999996, 4.999495, which show as just northwest of the building on Google Maps. Here are both maps:

If it’s supposed to be on the building, since it’s the main photo, you can certainly submit a location edit. But again, the location must be the most accurate, so there will never be a guarantee that any Wayspot will show up in any game based on the density/inclusion rules.

I would like to, but I cannot select the location as it’s not in Pokemon go.

You can use the help chat to request location moves for Wayspots you can’t access in-game. The prompt says moves over 10m, but I think they’ll do smaller moves in these types of situations.

For large objects, the wayspot location should be at the natural point of discovery for that object, which is typically the main entrance for buildings. If the wayspot was correctly located on the main entrance of this building, it would still be in the occupied cell.

I believe this is a mixed use building, from what I saw on Google Maps.

The Wayspot is at the correct location and does not require any adjustments.

As a general reminder, submitting Wayspots at incorrect locations to manipulate the gameboard is considered abuse and may lead to permanent termination of your Wayfarer and game accounts.

Unlucky, there is always a chance, I would suggest looking at a different area to create a pokestop and read the guidelines of Pokémon go

The S2 cell it’s in already has a number of Wayspots, which is why this one is not showing up in PoGo. The OP even noted this, and I’m thinking they may have been using a 3rd party map to determine the S2 cells, which aren’t always accurate.
