Spot accepted but still no stop or gym

My recommendation was accepted weeks ago but the game has t been updated with a spot or gym. What are my options?

What are the coordinates? I can check to see if it’s in the same level 17 s2 cell as another PokéStop

If it is accurately located, then you don’t have any options for this Wayspot. Here is a good article on the algorithm that determines if accepted Wayspots become Pokestops:

Trying to move it away from the actual location to get it into an empty cell is abuse, and a resubmission of it would be marked as a duplicate of the existing Wayspot.

Or if the other stop in that level 17 s2 cell is in the incorrect location, and it’s supposed to be in a different cell, then he does have an option

Fair point. Edited my reply. I really hate to recommend pushing things around on the game board, but I do love to have things in their correct places irl.

Before we dive into this too deeply, can you supply the name of the wayspot and the location - GPS co ordinates work well.

Spot name is Shelter at Bollingbrook and the gps location is. : 40.45983 , -88.94703

So there was alŕeady a pokestop in thatbcell

Its appeared in ingress, but wont appear in pokemkm go (and you wont be able to move the other stip as it appears to be in the correct location)
