Hi they i had a pokestop got expected witch is great but dint know if it might be able to be asked to be upgrade to a gym request as its about half way between gumys with i a fair distance between othets

That’s not how it works. This article explains a bit about how Gyms are created.

Unfortunately, Wayfarer doesn’t choose what becomes stops or gyms in PoGo. With Wayfarer, you are submitting places to be Wayspots on the Lightship map. Each Niantic games uses Lightship to create game play locations, and each have their own rules.
Being that this is something that PoGo would decide upon, and there is no guarantee any accepted Wayspot will become a gym or even a game play location, it’s not something that Wayfarer handles. I would read up on S2 cells, and if a Wayspot is added to any Niantic game, I would consider that a win, regardless of what type it is.

I still don’t get the cell thing as my local trains station has 3 gyms and 1 poke stop bit glabee garend basingstoke has one gym but about 12 pokestops
The S2 cells are hard to understand at times. However, it’s up to PoGo to decide game play locations, not Wayfarer.
Yes, there are some cells with a large number of stops/gyms, more than what should be allowed. Unfortunately, it’s still something that PoGo handles; again, we are adding Wayspots to the Lightship map. You may want to contact PoGo in regards to this issue.

Maybe this will help. The bigger green outlines are the L14 cells that determine gyms, and the smaller yellow outlines are the L17 cells that determine Pokestop eligibility. The L14 cell is much bigger than Glebe Gardens, so that is why it could have only one gym there with 12 pokestops. Check the outer corners of the L14 for the gyms.
