Not sure why my pokestop nomination is always rejected. Can someone help?
As for naming, I just say The Meadowoods Apartments and the other one I name as Beachy Mailbox.

Hello and welcome,
Unfortunately, mailboxes don’t meet criteria, as they are pretty generic and indistinct. You see them pretty much everywhere, even if they are painted. It’s also possible they may be on private property, and Wayspots are not allowed on single family private residential property.
As for the apartment sign, I would reject this, as it’s mainly just an ad for the building, especially since the rental company’s phone number is listed. With apartment signs, there needs to be something else that makes it unique, such as a water fountain, art (like a sculpture/statue), or something else that makes it meet criteria.
You may want to review the Wayspot criteria to better understand what is and isn’t eligible, and that info can be found here:
Ahh, okay. Thanks for the information. I’ve reviewed the criteria many times and thought I met them. I see a majority of pokestops with signs for apartment/hotel/other buildings that are more generic than this so that got me confused and I still think it’s unfair, but it is what it is I guess
There are a good deal of Wayspots that may have met criteria at one time still around, but wouldn’t meet them today. Most of them don’t meet removal criteria, which is a lot stricter than approval criteria, so we’re kind of stuck with them.
