Pokestop nomination rejected

Please provide:

Welcome to the forums

The “Abuse” rejection narrative can be flagged for a nomination for any of the following reasons

  • The photo is not yours (e.g., taken from streetview, found on another website)
  • The photo is fake
  • The waypoint is fake
  • The text itself is abusive
  • The nomination is controversial and likely to be offensive (e.g., a mural of terrorists)
  • Another nomination was abusive and all of yours have been flagged as a consequence
  • The wayspot location pin is misplaced
  • The wayspot is deliberately misrepresented (e..g., on school property but pretending it isn’t)
  • (there may be others)

Is it possible that the location is incorrect, as this is the a common cause of this flag. The location is in the submission email underneath the photos and looks something like this:

Bro if look on map also like but this place update still now not updated in Google map. Please check again.

Hello and Welcome to the forums,

I found this location on Google Maps, and there’s no street view. The satellite view isn’t good enough in that area to be able to make out the nominated object just using it.

Reviewers often tag things with the “Abuse” tag incorrectly, which is why you got the rejection message that you did. It’s likely that what happened was the reviewers thought your nomination was fake and/or not at the location that you say it is.

If you have a geo-tagged photo, something with the GPS coordinates embedded in the photo, you can use that as your supporting photo or when appealing the rejection.

Otherwise, given the lack of streetview it might be difficult to get this one though.

How far away is usable Street View?

Is it possible to take a supplemental photo that shows the waypoint as well as something in the background that is recognisable in Street View? If so mention in your supplemental that "Not yet on Street View but “…” is viewable on Street View and in the background.

They would probably have to use multiple photo’s to “lead” the reviewer down to it, as the streetview in the area isn’t close.

Hey @Charmidark ,

Let me explain.

This Wayspot was submitted away from its correct location. Moreover, it’s standard practice to reject pending nominations once abuse is detected.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Hii niantic wayfeer
They is a temple of lord hanuman but but where i nominated that picture was there of status . One is temple of lord hanuman which is far from me another status of lord hanuman. I can show you

And location one - Google Maps
And another - Google Maps

Its not super convincing that the only pictures added to this google maps pin are the ones that you took (which btw means you have to go take new pictures again if you plan on resubmitting). If you end up taking new photos, you could take a supporting photo using GPSCameraApp so reviewers know this location actually exists

You i have taken photo from GPS photo and submitted here . Okay i will done this today.

Am I right in assuming that these buildings circled in your photo and the satellite view are the same? I do think the little blue roof matches what you submitted.

If possible try to include a supporting image that shows the buildings visible on streetview so it’s easier to verify the location

Yes same place .in evening I’m sending hole map photo with coordinates of this entire where many place are updated but not show in satelite. I’m trying my best

Good luck!

Hii here the photo of the area @wooperIooper

Seems good to me, if you resubmit and use these as the supporting images I think you’re much more likely to be successful

Thanks brother . I try renomination again . Tomorrow good night.

@NianticAaron @wooperIooper I renomimate this pokestop if you think good then support

Unfortunately I am not in your review pool so I won’t be judging this one, but good luck with the voting process. If everything checks out I’m sure reviewers will accept
