Hello, this is my first time posting here! I’ve been playing Pokémon Go! since the first day, and have been contributing to Wayfarer for awhile now.
I’ve been nominating new points of interest at my local park to make it a better place to play for my local community, and most of my nominations have been accepted (thank you!). However, recently out of 12 nominations, only 1 has appeared in PoGo and the rest register as ‘being used in other games’. I understand some nominations naturally must go to other games, but this was really disheartening.
Is there anything I can do to have some of my nominations added to PoGo?

There are additional density rules involved in accepted Wayspots being used as Pokestops or gyms. This topic may help explain: Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)
If you give a location, we can try to illustrate the issue. Never mislocate something to try to force it to become Pokestop eligible - that is abuse.
Is there a way to DM on here? Not trying to dox myself on a public forum, but do appreciate the help.
There is not a way for members to DM each other. An ambassador may start a DM with you.
I can illustrate S2 cells with an example from a local park to me. Only one wayspot in each of the little boxes (L17 S2 cells) can be pokestop eligible.

In case you are not aware or for any new wayfarers visiting, in the map shown by @cyndiepooh …
The “Red” circles are Gyms.
The “Blue” circles are Pokestops.
The “White” circles are wayspots that currently are not used in game.
As you can see, cells with multiple wayspots will only use 1 as a stop or gym.
The “unused” wayspots may…
- become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
- replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
- be used in other Scopely games.
***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).
