Additional Information (if any):
I had requested a name change and description edit to this Power Spot. The name change I submitted was Nium, Inc. The description I submitted was: “A former friary, the building was purchased and developed into the home of design agency Nium, Inc. who also rents upstairs office space to other companies.”
The description, which contains the recommended name change Nium, Inc., was accepted, but not the name change. GardnerFrankhouser, LLP does not even operate inside of the building. They rent the office space just to have a mailing address and stop by once a month to pick up mail. I am appealing that the name be changed to Nium, Inc., as the owner put a lot of time and money into the renovation and opening of the building and I believe they deserve to have that effort reflected by having their company name Nium, Inc. on the power spot, and not GardnerFrankhouser, LLP
If the Powerspot is for GardenerFrankhouser, LPP, then trying to change it to Nium, Inc is repurposing, and not allowed. The Powerspot can be reported for removal if GardenerFrankhouser,LPP is not there. But it sounds like they do have a presence there from your post.
Well then remove the photo I uploaded as well. I just think it’s unfair a tenant who is hardly there gets a power spot but the business that owns the building and rents to them doesn’t
It represents Nium, Inc. who are the owners and operate on three floors of the building. I uploaded it hoping you would change all the other information to the Wayspot
That’s unfortunately not how this works. These are added as imports and rotate over time. Either the larger business wasn’t in the database these were imported from, either it also has a pin but isn’t in rotation right now (you can check for yourself on the map in the Pokémon GO submission interface - it will show the whole “menu” PowerSpots can potentially be selected from). At no point is anyone owed a PowerSpot active at this time, and it doesn’t depend on the prominence of the business.
As you were told, trying to change one into the other isn’t allowed, and as I mentioned you also risk creating a duplicate if this business was also imported. If the larger business is separately eligible per Wayfarer criteria, you’re welcome to create a new submission for it.
