If a restaurant has closed down and been replaced with a different restaurant, which seems to be the case here, then the correct course of action is to report the old business as no longer existing so that the wayspot can be removed, and then to submit a new wayspot for the new business if it meets the criteria.
What you seem to be trying to do here is what wayfarer considers to be “repurposing”, which is trying to change a wayspot for a specific location into a wayspot for a different location. Repurposing is not permitted under the wayfarer rules.
Thanks for the appeal, @huffly! We gave this a second look and decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
