Hola espero que todos se encuentren bien, quisiera venir a comentar un tema que siento que está afectando a la comunidad y son los criterios que tienen algunas personas para rechazar propuestas, en estos últimos días me han rechazado tres propuestas pero en las justificaciones ninguna es coherente.
La primera fue una cancha de futbol 11 que está en mi universidad y fue rechazada por “según” estar en un centro educativo de menores de 18 años, de ahí una placa que se encuentra en la misma Universidad fue de igual manera rechazada por este mismo motivo y de igual manera agregaron que las fotos no coinciden con el mapa cuando, todo es correcto. De cierta manera me frustra porque trato de esforzarme mucho en realizar buenas propuestas, eligiendo lugares interesantes, buenos títulos y descripciones, para que sean rechazadas por puntos que no son correctos.

The rejection for K-12 schools does somewhat make sense, as in some countries, a university isn’t always a place where those 18 and over go to continue their studies. Some universities may also have education for those under 18, such as attached middle and high schools. As for the photos, can’t really say much about them without seeing them.

Si claro lo entiendo, pero aquí en México las universidades solo admiten a personas que ya tengan más de 18 años, por lo mismo que aquí los 18 años ya eres considerado mayor de edad.

De igual manera me rechazaron una propuesta sobre un Gimnasio para realizar ejercicio, con la justificación que no tiene ningún valor cultural y es una propiedad privada, lo que me parece extraño porque yo he visto muchas propuestas de Gimnasios que han sido aprobadas y en los criterios se menciona que si puedes proponer lugares que entres pagando alguna cuota en este caso un gimnasio

En el Google Maps aparece que está cerca del bachillerato pero no es así, porque la Universidad y el Bachillerato se encuentran separados completamente. Entonces el lugar que se propone no interfiere en ningún momento con el Bachillerato.

I have seen in Mexico where there are some places that have both a high school and a university on the same grounds. They refer to these schools as bachillerato, and one is listed on the campus for ULS. It does note on their website that this specific school is for those 14-18:
Looking at the website for ULS, some of the open areas and ports fields do appear to be just for the bachillerato, and it does appear that the plaque is part of the bachillerato area. It appears that the south end of the campus is for the bachillerato high school, while the north end is for the rest of the university. These 2 may be hard to get approved if they are in the area of the high school, which seems to be the case.
As for Titanium, this one doesn’t make much sense, as it’s listed as a fitness center on Google Maps, and the sign can be seen on the building on Street View. Yes, fitness centers that you do have to pay for are allowed, as they are still great places to exercise, and may be social hubs as well. Just because one has to pay to use the fitness center doesn’t make it ineligible. You may want to consider either resubmitting or appealing this one. They do have a Facebook page, although they don’t post much on it, so this would be something to include in either the supporting info if you resubmit, or in your appeal: https://www.facebook.com/TitaniumFitOax/
Muchas gracias, por tu ayuda y tus comentarios al respecto, si la verdad es un poco complicado la situación de los límites que se tienen en el Campus, creo que solo cuando estás directamente en el lugar es más fácil de identificar que desde fotografías en internet, intentaré con otras zonas de la universidad que se encuentren más alejadas.
Y respecto al gimnasio Titanium si a mí también me pareció raro que no aceptaran la propuesta, pero por el momento ya utilice mis dos apelaciones. Es buena idea volver a subir la propuesta del gimnasio Titanium?
You can wait for your appeal to come back or resubmit, but thag might get rejected again. Fitness centers are hard to get past the reviewers these days. I suggest appealing to hopefully gurantee.
I just had a fitness center approved by the community last week with no issues, so I wouldn’t say they are hard to get approved. Some of the info on Google Maps did make this seem as though it was private property, as someone linked their personal social media account to the business, not the business’ Facebook page, so this could have confused some. It may have been the owner’s personal social media, but I did find one for the business on Facebook.
