Anyways, ahem I was wondering if a local basketball court could be nominated as a wayspot.
The reasons why I think it should is because it is used by locals frequently to host local tournaments and events related to Basketball.
My issue is, however, the fact that the local school uses it during school hours. Would the nomination still go through or would it be flagged as a K-12 School? (The school beside the court is a Primary school.)

Is the court part of school property or not? It sounds like it probably is, but there are cases where parks exist next to schools.
I am not sure, I will check this and see if I can find a conclusion.
It states that the Basketball Court is "Situated inside “Primary School Name” @NvlblNm
If its inside or on school grounds it isnt a valid wayspot. So this seems to unfortunately not meet the criteria since it seems this is part of the school if thats how its referenced.

That’s where I’m stuck, the Court is beside a public walkway, and the entrance gates are on that walkway, but google maps states that it’s owned by the Primary School.
Could the Info be out of date or am I wrong
Google maps may or may not be correct, but, having not seen it myself, it still sounds likely that it’s correct and the court is on school property.
I would look for property maps if I thought there was a chance it’s a separate property.

Honestly, i called a school one time to ask them which fields belonged to the school and which belonged to the park next door. There was just no way to tell. You may want to try that. I explained that i was adding pokestops but i wanted to be respectful of the rules to not put them on school grounds. The lady was glad i was being thoughtful about it.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell, like here you do have to have some local knowledge, the tennis courts are only accessible from the Park side of the school, where as the basketball courts are fenced in with the school.
