Rating stuck on “Poor” despite many agreements and active Upgrade progress

Hello Niantic Wayfarer Team,

I believe my reviewer rating might be stuck or not updating correctly. Despite having a significant number of reviews and consistent agreements, my rating has been showing as “Poor” for quite a while now.

Here are my current stats:

  • Total Nominations Reviewed: 2783

  • Nominations Accepted: 871

  • Nominations Rejected: 255

  • Nominations Duplicated: 21
    → Total Agreements: 1147 (~41% agreement rate)

My Upgrade progress bar continues to increase normally, which suggests that my reviews are still being counted as valid agreements in the background. However, the visible rating has not improved for weeks, even with regular reviewing. I also have a lot of accepted nominations from the past few months.

Could you please check if my rating display is stuck or if there’s an issue with the rating update process on my account?

This is not how rating works.

Rating can be improved if you have the same agreement with other reviewer. Try to slow down your review. Spamming review for upgrade usually result in bad agreement.

Only review what you sure and skip the rest will yield better result.

Wayfarer rating is based on the number of agreements and disagreements. Here are a few tips to help you review more effectively and maintain your performance rating:

  • Follow the criteria while reviewing nominations, we recommend keeping the eligible and ineligible criteria pages open in a different browser tab for easy access.
  • Take your time and review each segment on its own merit. Read this article for tips on how to review each section: Niantic Wayfarer
  • Avoid using third party tools/plugins or depending on others to decide on how you vote on a nomination.
